Stephanie + Tony’s wedding was an elaborate event full of joy and love, complete with family and friends who were just as excited as the bride and groom. Before the ceremony, though, we caught a sweet moment with Stephanie where she was sitting on her bed and taking a moment for herself. Her fingers traced the beautiful lace of her veil and she seemed as though she were meditating on the moments to come.
It wasn’t long before she slipped on her breathtaking wedding gown, stepped into the most spectacular Miu Miu heels, swiped a bit of pink on her lips, adorned her neck and wrists with pearls and allowed her darling little flower girl to help her with the finishing touches. The transformation was complete, and Stephanie looked radiant!
Meanwhile, Tony partook in a much more active shoot outdoors with his groomsmen (who all wore hilarious socks – Tony had a unique pair with stripes while the other guys wore matching colorful circle prints). They each donned sunglasses for some ultra cool poses, played in the road for a few concept shots, and stood collected and statuesque for the large group photos. Tony even took his father’s Viper out for a spin!
The ceremony was lovely and heartfelt. Stephanie + Tony looked calm and serious as they spoke their vows, knowing just how much each and every word meant. The bridesmaids acted as a great supporting cast and wore the deepest of blues which caused Stephanie to stand out all the more. After the exchange of rings, the couple left the building as husband and wife!
We took lots of wedding party shots at Osgoode Hall, which was the perfect setting for the bride and groom’s timeless style. The photos with their wedding party were our very favorites, though. They told a story of love and support.
The reception took place at Liberty Grand in the beautiful Centennial Room. It was elegant with thoughtfully arranged centrepieces, floral arrangements and arched windows. The tall candelabras, tying all of the elements together, were truly stunning!
The bride and groom took to the dance floor for their first dance and they were swept away by dreamy fog at their feet. The room went still as everyone stood by and watched the fairytale unfold before them.
A little later, guests enjoyed a mouthwatering dinner of risotto, beef tenderloin in a bourbon glaze, an intermezzo of lemon and basil sorbet, lobster tail and a delicious fruit galette … plus wedding cake later in the evening.
One of the absolute highlights for us was watching all of the kids with cameras in hand! It was a flurry of tiny paparazzi, and they did an admirable job of snapping photos of the dancers on the floor!
Stephanie + Tony’s wedding led to one of those nights that you just don’t want to end. Alas, end it did. At least we have our photos, though!
