Braving the cold for an engagement shoot is something that few couples do, but those who do indulge know that their efforts will produce spectacular results. And that couldn’t have been truer for this beautiful couple, whose engagement shoot I had the pleasure of capturing in the depths of an exquisite Canadian winter.
The couple rugged up in their best winter woollens for a spectacular shoot in and around Toronto’s famous ice rink in Nathan Phillips Square. Given the ice rink location, we were able to capture just so many unique shots – from a lovely snap of the bride-to-be’s engagement ring in her ice skates, to the couple lounging on a park bench outside the exquisite Osgoode Hall. What I found particular commendable about the day was that at no point did the couple utter even a whisper about the cold – they thoroughly enjoyed themselves, despite the fact that they are used to significantly warmer weather in their new home of West Palm Beach, Florida!
