Thank goodness the warm weather has finally arrived! The month of May has been such a busy and amazing time for Boston Avenue, shooting weddings and engagements … so we got a bit behind again with our Blog, Facebook, Instagram, Tweeting, Google+ and Pinning Yikes, that’s a lot of sharing! We are so excited to feature this amazing wedding that we captured May 4th at the impeccable Gardiner Museum. Where do we begin?
Earlier this year we started off this fabulous season working with these two cuties, who are obviously magically in love. So, of course, we were looking forward to their wedding a month later. It was obvious that they spent so much time on all the details, which made our job so easy.
To start, Melissa’s Monique Lhuillier gown was absolutely stunning as it hung in the bridal suite at the Four Seasons Hotel. Her Oscar de la Renta shoes, the girls’ Amsale dresses, Alex’s Tux by Tom Ford, his shoes by Ferragamo and the groomsmen’s tuxes by Vera Wang …were all stunning.
This couple is so thoughtful and appreciative, beautiful and sweet, which is why we bonded so well with them all day. We are ALL about the details, and this wedding was sensory overload! We sure hope you enjoy the images that we posted.
Melissa + Alex, we loved working with you! I hope these images bring back some warm and fuzzy feelings – it was a magical and truly fantastic day. {Looking back} we realized that we were working with a very special couple and this day was beyond words. We hope our photos can better explain how we felt.
We also want to send a special shout out to all the amazing professionals that we worked with that day, including flowers by Wild Thyme; wedding co-ordinator Margaret Corrigan from Gorgeous Events; “cheese” cake by Leslieville Cheese Market, hair by Emily Pike of Lift Beauty Boutique and make-up by Rhia Amio of Artistrhi.
I’d like to give a special thanks, once again, to Nina and Paul who introduced us to Melissa + Alex, and who also referred us to several other couples including {Holly and Simon}, {Janine and Kyle}, {Ashley and Evan}, {Shauna and Richard}, {Amanda and Michael} and, of course, Tania and Sean for starting it all.
Building these tight-knit lasting relationships with clients is the highlight of our job!
