On a perfectly serene August day, this beautiful couple vowed to love one another for the rest of their lives at the elegant Bellvue Manor in Vaughan, just north of Toronto. After spending the morning at home with his groomsmen, getting ready for his big day, the groom arrived blindfolded at the Manor, smiling from ear to ear. He removed the blindfold as his bride approached him. He was clearly awestruck by her beauty.
We then whisked the couple away to Kleinburg, where we spent time capturing their last fleeting moments as an engaged couple, surrounded by a forest of trees and flower gardens at the stunning McMichael Art Gallery.
They were most excited about sharing their special day with all of their loved ones and were thrilled as they gathered with friends and family for their traditional Jewish ceremony. The room was elegant, draped in white fabric, with accents of white flowers. They were officially wed under a sparkling chandelier by Rabbi Steven Schonblum. And what Jewish ceremony would be complete without the Hora or chair dance? The couple were hoisted over the heads of a few strong attendees and were paraded around the dance floor amidst their guests, sharing lots of laughs and managing not to fall!
Afterwards, as the bride’s father guided her onto the dance floor, it was clear that this would be a union of time-honoured traditions and family togetherness. The sweet end to a sweet evening was the unveiling of the candy bar station, dessert table and Coney Island hotdog stand. Completing the festivity was a display of chocolate-dipped marshmallows and colourful macarons. It was a day to remember as the couple’s loving parents, along with their talented wedding coordinator, Heidi Gruenspan, helped them to fill their incredible day with fun, sparkles, colour and laughter.
