The very point of a destination wedding is for the destination to be incredible – nonetheless, the truly breathtaking scenery I had the pleasure of shooting at the Royal Davui Island Resort for Whitney and Jason’s special day left me absolutely speechless.
The Royal Davui is located deep within Fiji’s spectacular Bega Lagoon – a place that literally exudes peace and tranquility, mostly afforded by the fact that the resort it so exclusive, only a handful of people are allowed to visit it at any one time. Although the resort offered a plethora of incredible locations for shooting, I felt I was able to capture the most spectacular shots of the couple at Sand Cay, a tidal islet a short boat ride from the resort. It was here, while the couple walked eloquently hand-in-hand toward the sparkling, crystal-clear ocean, that the magic of this incredible place was truly evident.
