There is little doubt in my mind that the spectacular Ancaster Mill is one of my favourite venues in any season. Yet, it was nothing short of a miracle to see it in all of its winter glory - blanketed in thick snow against a backdrop of brilliant sunlight - for the wedding of this lovely couple.
With the groom’s family hailing from Chile, some of the guests who flew in for the wedding were certainly used to warmer weather, especially the cute-as-a-button flower girls, who I must commend for fearlessly braving the cold during our many outdoor photos!
The colour palette the couple chose for the day was also very on-point for a mid-January ceremony, with the bridesmaids and flower girls in a beautiful shade of royal blue, and fire-engine red also featured in the bouquets, décor and shawls. All in all, the day was a spectacular fusion of cold, yet invigorating weather, and true warmth and love that radiated from the gorgeous bride and groom.
