Having witnessed my fair share of seasonal changeovers here in Canada, sometimes I feel as if the seasons simply bleed into each other and I barely notice the transition. However, there is nothing like an amazing couple, and an equally spectacular venue, to reignite my passion for the true beauty of Canada’s seasons and the stark differences in colour and landscape they deliver. A couple that reignited my passion in this way was these two awesome individuals.
I could never pick an absolute ‘favourite’ venue, but the picturesque Ancaster Mill would definitely make the short list of my all-time favourites. And although Ancaster is incredible all year round, there is nothing like shooting a wedding there in the Fall, when rich hues of gold, red and orange provide the perfect contrast to the beautiful green grass, thus creating the perfect backdrop for breathtaking photos. What I particularly loved about this wedding at the Ancaster Mill was how the couple incorporated the Fall colour palette throughout the entire celebration, with beautiful reds, oranges and yellows featured in both the bouquets and in the table decor.
