If a minute could encapsulate a lifetime of their moments, every second would be filled with more happiness than the last. If a day was their forever, every hour would begin anew with more smiles and more passion than a thousand eternities intertwined. If a year was their story, and each month but a chapter, then the tale of Kelly & Corrado begins and ends with happily ever after.
When you meet Kelly & Corrado, you really can’t help but revel in their supreme happiness. Not a moment is taken for granted and not a day passes without sunshine. We were fortunate to photograph this charming couple’s engagement in Toronto’s Distillery District, and from the moment we finished, we were counting down the days to the wedding.
It’s not often we come across a couple who can exude as much happiness as Kelly & Corrado do. Their passion not only for each other but for life and for love and for the beauty that surrounds them was so inspirational, and completely contagious! Photographing Kelly & Corrado with their bridal party was like watching an extravagant trail of dominos fall – as each of their bridesmaids and groomsmen wore their hearts and their smiles on their sleeves.
Kelly, who was definitely the source for the giant smile that remained on Corrado’s face - was absolutely gorgeous in a Victorian style gown and cathedral length veil. Her lovely ladies all wore very vibrant lime green gowns, each a little different than the next, while Corrado and his groomsmen donned the traditional black tuxedo suits.
The reception, held inside the beautiful Governor’s Ballroom of the Liberty Grand, was elaborately trimmed with creamy champagne coloured linens and accents of deep pinks and lime greens. We had so much fun photographing these two – along with all of the special people in their lives – we didn’t want the night to end… and P.S. – we weren’t alone. No one wanted to leave this party!
Kelly & Corrado, thank you again for letting us be a part of your day and for reminding us about what life is all about. You are our real-life fairy tale and we’re so glad your story can be told.
