I have seen (and occasionally tasted!) many wonderful wedding cakes during my career as a wedding photographer, but I have to say I am particularly impressed by the recent cool trend of having a ‘cheese cake’ – made of actual cheese! One couple that succeeded in having this, plus an absolutely exquisite day, were these fabulous individuals.
Held at the elegant Gardiner Museum, the couple’s special day was a truly classy affair. Prior to the ceremony, both the bride and the groom got ready at the Four Seasons Hotel, where they subsequently had their ‘first look.’ The bride looked divine in a gorgeous tulle Monique Lhuillier gown, with sequined rose-gold Oscar de la Renta peep toes, and the groom looked equally handsome in his Tom Ford tux, with smart Salvatore Ferragamo shoes. Following the first look shoot, I was also able to capture some incredible photos at the grounds of Trinity College. Although there were many highlights of the day, there was of course something just so special about the couple’s amazing wedding ‘cheese cake’ from Leslieville Cheese Market.
