A New Hope at Windsor Arms Hotel

As a seasoned wedding photographer, I can confidently tell you that no two weddings are the same – every couple infuses elements of their personality into their special day. However, once every now and then a couple comes along whose day is wholly, and beautifully, reflective of their lives and their love. And for me, these incredible people were a shining example of such a couple.

Very few brides, I’m sure, would allow their husband-to-be to play ‘A New Hope’ as their recessional song, a moment which the groom recounts as ‘a dream come true.’ Not only did Star Wars theming feature after the ceremony, but it also made an appearance throughout the reception, with numerous Star Wars themed decor, something that was incredibly unique, and very touching to see. However, the groom’s passions were not the only ones on display during the day - the bride also wore exquisite heels she had acquired in Italy while studying abroad, demonstrating her deep love of travel. And finally, the bride and the groom ordered custom-made, cute-as-a-button Alethea Chocolates, imprinted with a cartoon version of themselves; chocolates which, I’m told, had been long-standing family favourites.
